ET Golf

I got my first golf club when I was 9 years old but I only had one lesson. When I was 10 we had mini kids golf at my primary school and I started playing. After a while I started going to group sessions at my local golf club in Tidworth where I was taught by one of the pros - Charlie Gold. I then progressed to the junior academy with the head pro at Tidworth. Charlie moved away as he found a new job however I still have individual lessons with Charlie as he is my main coach.

The Presidents Cup 2017

Today I played in the Presidents Cup with Den Waites and Mark Williams (AKA a great 3 ball!). We were the very last tee time at 13:00 and the weather was awful! Rain and 18mph wind!! I was +6 gross going into the loop (the last 4 holes) and bogeyed 15 and 16. Now +8 with 2 holes to go (need to finish with two birdies to be in buffer zone). I hit it to 2ft on 17 for birdie and pull my drive left down 18, I had 140 to the pin and ripped a gap wedge to about 10ft and rolled the putt in. I managed to finish on +6 and stay in my buffer zone. Overall, a great day with a great result and great company!
