New Clubs!

Today I got my new clubs! Recently I purchased Callaway Apex irons, Callaway MackDaddy Wedges, and Cobra Bio cell, Driver, 3 Wood, and  Hybrid. I can't wait for the 2015 season! and hopefully I can slice my handicap again like I did this year.

My Birthday!

Today it was my birthday! I received some really nice presents from my Family and Friends. Especially my Mum and Dad who gave me my main presents which were two really nice jumpers, an Adidas designed one and an IJP (Ian Poulter Design) designed one. They were really nice and overall I had a very nice day!

NEWS!

Today my Dad revived an email from Wiltshire golf to say that I made it into Wiltshire's Performance Squad which means there a possibility I can make it in to the under 16 Wiltshire squads which would be AMAZING!

Winter League Match 2

Today my Dad and I played our second winter league match vs our good friends 'Tall and Taller' (Tim McNally and Matt Miles). We won 3 and 2 so great result against a 6 and scratch handicapper. Overall some great golf played by both sides and a really good day!

Cobra Club Fitting

Today I had a Cobra club fitting. I tried the new Cobra Bio Cell clubs with steel and stiff shafts and hit them really well. I hit the 7 iron, some of the hybrids, and the Driver, the driver I hit was really nice and I hit it an extra 35 yards compared to my current drive which is the Taylormade RBZ ladies.

Winter League Match 1

Today my Dad and I played in our first winter league match ever! We played against A.Sanders and M Stanton. The result of that match was 1 up to us. We were very lucky because they had a putt to half the match on the 18th and missed it! Overall great day!

3 Clubs and a Putter

Today I played in 3 clubs and a putter. I played alright and had 29 points compared to the winners 36 points. My putting was great! (only had 33 putts!). I really enjoyed the day but I really need to sort the slice with my driver!

Play Off Day at Bowood

Today I played at Bowood for Tidworth in a team stabbleford competition along side 5 other people, Harry, Jamie, Callum, Owen, Charl (Junior Captain). We all played well considering it was our first time playing there. We came 5th out of 12 teams so great result. My putting wasn't great but my driving was.

Tidworth Par 3 Challenge

Today Dad, Max, Chris (Last Years Club Captain), and I played in the Par 3 Challenge which was great fun apart from the weather! I played well but not well enough. Max won the junior par 3 challenge and my Dad came 3rd in the adult one. Well done Dad! (some money in the bank!)

Tidworth Junior Handicap Cup

Today I played in the Junior Handicap cup. The weather was great! My game was not so great. I made some great pars and even a birdie. However, my putting let my down because I could have had some more pars. Only 5 people played. Terrible turn out!

Junior K/O Match V North Wilts

Today Owen, Harry and I played in a club V club K/O match V North Wilts and won. Harry won his match 4 and 3, I won my match 5 and 3 and Owen was all square on the last and unfortunately lost. I played against an 11 handicapper so I got 2 shots, the match was up and down the whole way round and then on the 10th hole I started to get a lead and tended on extending that lead....and so I did. I didn't putt well but that didn't stop me winning the match. I smashed every drive up the middle and really enjoyed the day! (thanks to my playing partner Brad) :)

Tidworth Junior Open

Today I played at my home club in the Tidworth Junior Open. The weather was great! I didn't play very well and my putting was terrible (38 putts). Overall I really enjoyed the day even if I didn't play well. I shot 8 over my handicap and came 33 out of 50 people.

Kingsdown Junior Open

Today I played in the Kingsdown junior open. Kingsdown was great and we hand no rain. Overall I played 4 over my handicap. However, as usual I could have done better, I came 19th out of 53 people.
Really enjoyed the day! and only had 31 putts! :)

Junior Match v Manor House (Castle Combe)

Today we played against Manor House. I played alright. However, my playing partner played really well, so I didn't stand much of a chance, but I played as best as I could. Overall Tidworth lost 1-5 which was pretty humiliating. However, I had a really nice day with no rain :)

Bulford Cup (AM and PM)

On Saturday I played in the Bulford Cup. The Bulford Cup is a 36 hole competition played over one day, 45 people competed in the competition. The first round I Played really well and was really consistent and shot 6 under my handicap. However, the second round I did play as consistent and shot 5 over my handicap. Over all I came second and got my handicap cut to 12.8 :) In total a really nice day and played with 2 very nice people (David Snedden and Daniel Grove).

Junior Bowmaker

Today I played in the Junior Bowmaker at Tidworth. 14 teams of 4 participated, my team included: the club captain, Brian Hutchins, the junior captain, Charl Malan, and Max Wrixon. Over all we came LAST! Through out the competition I played bad but my driving has certainly improved thanks to the lesson I had yesterday with Charlie, every drive went straight except 2,which one went left and the other right.

Going to see Charlie :D

Today I went to see Charlie as well as playing in the Centenary Medal. When I was with Charlie we were focusing on getting rid of my fade with my driver, after an hour session we sorted my driving. I had a really fun time as always and it really gave a boost to my confidence :)

The Junior Centenary Medal

Today I played in the Junior Centenary Medal at Tidworth and played 2 under my handicap. Over all I'm really pleased with this result because of to silly holes which I had a 7 and an 8 :( So I could have easily played to 4 under my handicap, but over all very happy with the outcome :)

Cumberwell Junior Open Results! :)

The other day I played in the junior open at Cumberwerll park and I have now found out the results. Over all out of 37 players I came tied 5th, I'm really pleased with this result considering I was playing away at a different course.

Foster Powell Cup

Today I played in the Foster Powell cup at Tidworth. We played a unique rolling 6 hole knock and 18 hole stableford competition, unfortunately I lost my 6 hole knock on a putt off to Tom Millar who went on to win the final but he lost to Harry Moule, but I went on to win the 18 hole stableford with 39 points which also added another £15 to this years prize fund. Over all my golf was really good but a few of my drives let me down and also a few 3 putts let me down but I was generally pleased with my golf.

Junior open at Cumberwell Park

I had my first junior open of the season today, I played the red and yellow 9 hole courses. I think I played really good playing at a different course considering I hadn't played the red 9 hole course before. The conditions today were great for golf, there was no wind and the temperature was perfect. I beat my playing partner and managed to play 1 under my handicap. When I left I was 6th on the leader boards but I will tell you where I come in my next post.

Tidworth junior match against Ogbourne

I had my second junior match of the season today and I think it went fairly well considering the wind was very very strong. The guy I was playing against was 16 handicapper, so I only received 1 shot, I ended up losing 3 down with 1 to play. Our team drew against Ogbourne 3 - 3.

Tidworth junior match against Highpost

I had my first junior match against Highpost today it was a fairly good day for a round of golf not too windy and the perfect temperature. The guy I was playing against was a 15 handicapper so I received 2 shots, I ended up beating him 2 up with 1 to play. Our Tidworth team won over all 5 - 1.    

Presidents Cup!

I played in the Presidents Cup today and WON! I played really well, but could have done better. I shot an 85 (my second best round) a nett 65 :) I am really please because I've only just recently been cut from 25.5 to 20.2 and now I've been cut from 20.2 to 18.8 but they cut me another 2 whole shots for an exceptional round.

Even made the local paper again! :)
